There is some excellent timing here with what looks like water spray as the ball is being hit. The focussing is spot on concentrating our gaze on the two players. The background is a little distracting and I think I would have cropped this tighter. As I said nicely timed. |

I don't know how this image was created as there is a strange shadow area but it is of no concern because it all works very well. The bold golden colour contrasts well with the rest of the image. The off centre leaf is also nicely placed and I like how the stem and other features take us directly to the gold leaf. A very good title as well! |

This is a nicely arranged image with a careful attention to colour, The flower head in the foreground is nicely rendered nad I enjoy how the depth of field drops off as we travel further back into the composition. The out of focus orange shapes are a little distracting but that is a minor point here. Nice. |

This is a competent image of this fine building. The lighting on the day was a little overcast but this has ensured a full range of tones. I think the image is over sharpened and I would tone this back a little although there is a wealth of detail to enjoy here. |

Church architecture is often a source of great images although difficult lighting conditions can be a challenge. The photographer here has done very well with the lighting and has produced an image with great detail and tones. The composition is nicely balanced but it is a little unfortunate that it has been cropped a little high at the bottom resulting in cut figures. well done on the exposure and balance of composition though. |

A very fine and quiet image and nice quality from a phone image. The composition with leading lines taking us towards the sun are great and I like the detail in the sky. The horizon does dip ever so slightly to the left and I would have cloned out the bucket shaped item in the water but this picture does show what can be done with a phone camera. |
