Print Competition Rules

These rules apply to all club print competitions, including the Parkwood Trophy, unless otherwise advised.

One week before the competition judging date (unless a shorter period is advised), e mail intcomp@parkwoodcameraclub.com with the titles of your (usually 3) entries. This is to enable the internal competition secretary to create a running order spreadsheet for all the entries. Only the image titles are required, there is no need to format your titles in any way or to send pdi versions of your prints. Number your entries 1, 2, and 3 in your preferred order that you wish them to be considered for the competition just in case we are inundated with entries and have to reduce your entries to only 2. At the time of writing these guidelines this seems an unlikely event.

Prints should be mounted onto 50 x 40 cm mountboard through a bevel cut window.
There is no stipulated size requirement for the actual image itself.

Please write your name and print title on the reverse of your mounted print and draw an arrow pointing to the top end of the print to avoid any confusion over the orientation when displayed.

You prints should be brought to the hall early (7.30 pm) on the judging day to enable the committee to place them, with all the other members prints, in the pre-determined running order.
