There is a nice quality to this. The cool tones have highlighted the nice detail. In the past two subjects have often been said to divide our attention but I like here how the bridle straps create a strong ling between the two heads. |

Scotney is a classic location for landscape photography and in the right conditions great photographs can be taken. This is a great view in good lighting and with nice sky detail. The title mentions the reflection for which I would have zoomed in closer to the castle and its reflection. Still a nice image though. |

This is an interesting composition. On initial viewing it could be mistaken for an in computer composite but it appears to be a straight image of the ancient and modern which works well. I'm a little concerned with the colours and contrast here which are a little harsh but otherwise this has been well seen. |

I like the idea here for creating a creative pattern picture from the architecture. The colours and contrast are a tad harsh again bnut I think they work better here. The cut off windows at the edges are a bit distracting and I wonder if some cropping and adjustment in the computer may have been beneficial. Again, well seen and well taken. |

What makes this image is the light which is expertly controlled and illuminates the tulips beautifully. The flowers are also perfect specimens and are nicely arranged. The rear reflection all adds to this wonderful effect. |

The very limited colour combination works well here with the warm reds being projected in front of the receding greens. The water droplets are a nice touch. However, the two specimens here do divert our attention as there is no direct link between them unlike the heavy horses in another entry. The quality of the image is very high. |

This image has many colours which all work together well. The prominent bloom is nicely lit. I think I may have cropped the left closer to the flowers and experimented with different depths of field. The blue background is the perfect receding colour which is a good choice here. |

This is a clever abstract image as it conveys just enough information for us toimagine the complete scene. Zooming in close has created a strong composition and having the bright object in the windows has created another point of interest. I did wonder if perhaps the very bright area of this could be lessened a tad but that is a minor point. |
