There is some excellent panning here. The image is full of movement and yet the cars are sharp. I might have cropped the light area at the top but that is carping as this is very good. |

There is a nice sense of depth here with the various layers taking us through to the background. The image does have some burnt out areas but this is a good record of how Upnor looks in 2024. I do especially like the foreground arrangement which forms a frame. |

It is always nice to see wildlife in its natural habitat and this looks just like that. The bird is well placed in the image space and giving more space in front gives it a sense of movement. The bird does blend into the background which is a little unfortunate but otherwise thisis well taken. |

The crowning glory of this is the lighting without which this image could be quite ordinary. Well done on having a good clean lens as well as this is a severe test on how your equipment controls flare. There is some evident but nothing to worry about. Well done. |

This is a nicely produced image. I like how it fits the picture space and there is a great sense of height. The monochrome treatment works well but I wonder if there was more detail in the dark areas that could have been lifted in post processing? I assume the title comes from the three columns which is very apt. |

The leading lines in the foreground here take us into the picture nicely. The sky detail is dramatic but having the horizon across the centre dividing the image gives a sense of two images here. I may have lightened the far bank slightly to emphasise Upnor Castle a bit more to act as a focal point. Well done on a nicely composed image making good use of the mooring booms. |

I am finding it very difficult to find fault here as this is a wonderful infra red image that clearly shows the effect that can be produced. I always say an effect should enhance but not become the image and this is a great example of how an effect has lifted a composition to different heights. Infra red is not easy and images often have burnt out areas and black featureless shadows but the photographer has controlled all the tones wonderfully. Excellent. |

Border collies are such characters and the photographer here has certainly captured a wonderful expression. Technically everything is great and the point of focus on the dogs eyes takes us straight to the face before we are led to the ball. Great story, great composition. |

The comments I made to the other infra red image are also echoed here although I prefer the composition of the Down House image. Having said that there is one very important detail here that makes a huge difference and that is the open door which invites us into the image. A composition with a closed door or gate seems to create a mental block stopping us moving into the image space. |

The colour combination is excellent here with the hot red against the cooler green. The tapering shape works well and I like the sharp detail on the plant itself. The thin shape does create an empty space and I did wonder how this would look in portrait mode but as presented it is very good. |

This is a well seen image and the title is obviously very apt. Again this is a nicely constructed composition with some good forefground detail. The fishing boat itself is especially well positioned. As presented to me the image is a little bright and I'm sure darkening it down would improve it immensely. The sky detail in particular would be greatly enhanced. Nicely taken. |
