The glory of this is the timing of the droplets in conjunction with the ripples in the water. The light on the droplets is also vitally important too. I think the image is a tad dark but it does give it a mysterious feel to it. Very good. |

This is a clever approach to perspective. If the uprights were exactly that the line at the bottom with the scary looking metal plates could look awkward but making this feature level has creaed this interesting effect. The monochrome treatment is nicely done although I might worked a bit more on the sky, there does appear to be some detail there to extract. I applaud the different approach to architecture here. |

Night photography can be a tricky subject but the best results can be obtained before the actual darkness when there is still colour in the sky. This is a good example. I like the strong lead in which sweeps us around to the bridge. The bridge is a little in the background but I like how the photographer retained detail in the shadows and has filled the dark water with reflected lights. |

What an interesting installation which begs the question of how it was put in there? The converging verticles give a sense of size to this and I like the colours from the artificial lighting. It is a shame that the bottom of the aircraft has been cropped off but there could be a good reason for this. Rochester Cathedral certainly has some great exhibitions and well done to the photographer for capturing this for posterity. |

This is another image which is all about the timing. At first I thought the smoke was too much but it does emphasise what happens and I like the commanding officer who manages to avoid being engulfed! The smoke is bright and featureless and I wonder if there was more detail in there to be brought out that could have made this even more dramatic. |

I enjoyed this image very much. Everytime I looked at it I could see something else. What does stand out is the timelessness and the attention to detail as there is nothing obvious in this that dates it to 2025. The overall shape created by the re- |

I like the story here which is a real reflection of modern life. The red vehicle is a distraction to me. In an ideal world it would have been great if all the figures were a blur exccet the subject but as presented it is a quality image and as I said it tells the story well. |

This is another image that tells a story. The focussing is vitally important here and it has been nicely applied to ensure the artist stands out from the background which is soft but sharp enough to set the scene. I like the faces of the previous artworks looking out at the viewer. |

I would imagine these two ladies were sweltering in those uniforms on that day so where better to shelter than underneath a Spitfire wing? The photographer has actually balanced the exposure well because it could have been all to easy to have the areas in sunlight too bright. The rope is a distraction but that would be difficult to avoid in this situation. Well seen and well taken. |

This is a well taken and nicely produced image. The monochrome treatment is very nicely done and I like the look on the faces. The detail and contrast is very good indeed. The only comment I would make is to crop off the left of the image that includes the gun. I realise this could be seen as an important part of the scene but including it also includes the railings and modernity in the background. Crop it out and the image becomes timeless. |
